Professional Development Meetings (PDM’s)
The South Central Texas Chapter of APICS holds PDM’s every month. The purpose of these meetings is to provide a short educational presentation on a topic of interest; in addition, these meetings are designed to bring together members of the Operations and Supply Chain community in our area. Recent meeting topics have included:
- “Managing Daily Improvement” (also called Lean Daily Management Systems)
- “Increasing Profitability Through Environmental Responsibility”
- A presentation on HEB’s supply chain by the company’s Senior VP of Logistics & Supply Chain
- Facility/Plant Tours
Speakers Needed!
APICS SCTX is always on the lookout for speakers and tour locations for our PDM's. If you know of a speaker or a local company that would make for a great PDM and would be interested in working with us, please contact Rod Cantu, VP Programs, for more information.
