PDM Meeting: On Tuesday, February 9th, we will be having a Professional Development Meeting at the Old San Francisco Steak House at 10223 Sahara Street (off San Pedro north of Loop 410) . Please come join us for dinner and a presentation titled Adjusting For Our Environment – Increasing Profitability Through Environmental Responsibility.

This Presentation: Adjusting For Our Environment – Increasing Profitability Through Environmental Responsibility Green and sustainability ranks low among the strategic priorities for U.S. manufacturers despite increasing government regulation, growing consumer demand, and new requirements handed down from large manufacturers to their supply chain. Come learn about simple strategies and easy to use tools that reduce the impact to our planet while cutting bottom line expenses.

Speaker Bio: Bill Rafferty – Mr. Rafferty directs the South Central Region of the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC) hosted by Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). TMAC is a federally assisted program to provide affordable technical assistance to Texas Manufacturers. Mr. Rafferty leads a staff of Manufacturing Professionals who help manufacturers excel by implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems and Sustainability Strategies.
